The 2-Day MAT Seminar in TOKYO 2015 January 10 & 11 ■Completed■

The 2-Day MAT Seminar is an intensive course that covers the major things that a teacher needs to know about the Model Action Talk (MAT) Method and the techniques used in getting students to talk 80% of class time without the teacher's help, learn to read as they learn to talk, and be able to write as well. Grammar can be taught easily and students can learn the tenses, infinitives, prepositions, gender and other parts of speech even before they learn them in their textbooks.

Teachers will learn how to do all of the above and more, and how they can arrange their lessons to fit them in and have interactive and fun lessons throughout the year.

This seminar is given irregularly once every few years. Don't miss this chance to learn to give your students your best.

There were so many disasters this summer. Our sympathy are always with those who were affected.

At the same time, it is harvest time. We hope you are able to enjoy what nature gives us, too.

The topics for our next Osaka Study Group Meeting are "There is a ~. There are ~s." "How many ~are there?"
We frequently hear that many teachers find this sentence pattern difficult to teach. With the MAT METHOD, we use Actions to have the students understand with fun. Please come and see how it works.

We will also introduce many Fun Christmas Activities.

OSAKA Study Group Meeting Sept. 7 (Sun) Information ■Completed■

Hello, Teachers!!
It looks like we are going to have another HOT, summer.
We hope you are all doing well and looking forward to your fun summer events.

The topics for our next Osaka Study Group Meeting are: How to teach countable and uncountable nouns and possessive pronouns with the sentence pattern "Whose bag is this?-It's his/her bag." Since these concepts are not in the Japanese language, they might give children problems when they go into junior high school and take English tests. Teaching younger children these grammar points clearly now will help them later. However, you might think that teaching grammar will bore your students.

The MAT METHOD can solve this problem!

By using the MAT Practice system, you will see how your students can learn the grammar without using difficult terms and enjoy the process of learning it.

We also plan to introduce some fun 'Halloween' activities, which you might want to try at your Halloween parties as well as in your daily lessons.

Please join us and see how the magic of the MAT METHOD will change your students !!!
