Here are some news and tidbits from Junko Nakamura who moved to Los Angeles recently.
Her son is enrolled in a public school in Torrance, but since there is no ESL classes for foreign students, they have alternative ways to deal with teaching English to them.
You can read about it in the IIEEC Newsletter, Vol. 55.

In this section of our home page, Junko will send us some interesting information or news that may be of interest to us.
Be sure to check this column regularly to see what kind of news she has for us!

Junko received her IIEEC MAT METHOD Certification in 2003 and was taking the course to become a Teacher Trainer for the IIEEC Teacher Training Center before her husband was transferred to the US.
She is now taking extension courses at UCLA (University of California at Los Angeles).
